“You think you know how the world works? You think that this material universe is all there is? What is “real”? What mysteries lie beyond the reach of your senses? At the root of existence, mind and matter meet. Thoughts form reality. This universe is only one of an infinite number... Who are you in this vast multiverse, Mr. Strange?”

One of my favorite dialogue from a fantasy movie: Doctor Strange.

These enigmatic questions and the concept of ‘multiverse’ got my attention. And my mind started linking various equations. (Although at first is seems absurd, but after you contemplate about this idea, it makes sense) This concept itself is so huge and yet a reality. We are indeed very teeny tiny creatures in this small planet, which is not even the size of a sand grain when compared to the universe and its immensity.

How do we know how big is this Universe? Plenty of diverse species out there are existing in our home planet and only 15% of them are currently known to the scientists. Human beings are delving into the world and its vast enigmatic secrets since its creations. And then there are planets, solar system, stars, galaxies and many more incessant bodies of the Universe which are yet to be explored.

It took years for us humans to procure the present. Who knows, how much more will it take to culminate the Universe? Even the wonderment of the idea about the greatness of this Universe makes our mind giddy and hazy.

“With power and skill Did We construct The Firmament: For it is He Who create The vastness of space.” (Al-Quran 51:47)

When my mind imagines the greatness of this Universe, I wonder in astonishment and can’t resist admiring the Maker of this enormous boundless space. Various questions strike inside if we look it deeply, I wonder who are We in this vast labyrinth? Some secrets are beyond the capabilities of Human Mind to unlock. Who knows there might be another planet in another corner of the Universe with people hovering around like us doing daily chores, working and living as we are.

I believe that we must make some time for our self to simply just observe, think, imagine, question and get amazed by the marvelous creations around, and be thankful to the One who has blessed us with senses to enjoy these wonders. It’s a kind of meditation as well and it makes you grateful for every thing.

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?” (Al-Quran 55:13)

Indeed, we can never ever negate The Mighty One Who created us and everything. He says, there are signs for people who ponder, who question and seek for His blessings. We should always be learning and seeking more about what our Maker has made for us.

Unfortunately, we are too busy to look around us.

What is this life so full of care

We have no time to stand and stare

This is not a world to stand and stare. A world where time is running like horses, who can’t make a stop to stare. Who has the eye to look deeper in the oceans of time and make it stop. Following the already worn out paths, we don’t even have time to make new ones. All we need to do is to revive our inquisitive spirits for there is so much more out there to seek about…

As Jordan B. Peterson mentions: “We must search for meaning, not for its own sake, but as a defense against the suffering that is intrinsic to our existence.” (From 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos)

I am a wanderer beneath forgotten stars.

I am a silvery gale, roaming the spheres.

I am a riddle with thousand answers.

I’ve been a witness to the rise and fall of worlds.

I’ve been a rider of a phoenix with golden feathers.

I’ve been a servant of a tree, older than time itself.

I’ve seen wonders and places that no one else will ever glimpse.

Despite the fact that all of that is just…..

….a single thought away.
